    Q: What do I do if I need a visa to travel to Portugal?
    A: If you require a visa to travel to Portugal, please contact the events team at
    welcome@bpstoragezone.com and they will be able to provide you with a hotel confirmation letter to support your application. Obtaining a visa to travel as well as the cost is the responsibility of the attendee.

    Q: What is the climate in Portugal in November?
    A: The average daytime temperature is around 17°C (62°F) dropping to around 14°C (57°F) in the evenings/night.


    Q: What time zone is Lisbon on in November?
    A: Time zone in Lisbon, Portugal (GMT+1) 

    Q: What is the electrical power supply?
    A: The power sockets are of type F. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.

    Q: What is the currency in Portugal?
    A: The currency is Euros.

    Q: What language is spoken in Portugal?
    A: The language spoken is Portuguese. Throughout the event, the language spoken will be English.

    Q: What is the dress code?
    A: There is no formal dress attire during the program. You should pack comfortable casual wear for the business session. For the activities and dinners, please refer to the Programme page for further information.

    Q: Will transport be arranged throughout the trip?
    A: We will organise all transport for you on arrival at Lisbon Airport and during the trip. Please ensure you organise your own transport to and from your airport in your country of origin.

    Q: What if I need medical assistance or am travelling with prescription drugs? 

    A: In case an emergency, dial 112 and ask for an ambulance.

    Contact your insurance or medical assistance company if you are referred to a medical facility for treatment.

    If you’re feeling unwell, but it’s not an emergency, call, in Mainland Portugal: (+351) 808 24 24 24, press 9 for English.

    Should you need medical assistance our event team will be on hand to help you. Portugal has excellent medical facilities; however, you must have adequate insurance to cover the fees private hospitals charge.

    A prescription delivered by a doctor in one EU country is valid in all other EU countries. However, a medicine prescribed in one country might not be available or it may have another name.

    Q: Are there any COVID-19 restrictions for travel to Portugal and within Portugal?

    A: There are currently no restrictions in Portugal. Specific guidelines may differ between now and attending the event therefore please ensure that you remain up to date with the guidelines in Portugal.

    Please ensure that you check Government guidelines for travel for any countries that you may have to transit via on your way to and from Portugal.
